OK, so here’s the deal. I am thinking today is going to be a break since this is a cardio workout in a program that is going to bulk you up. Sagi is huge and I just figured that he probably doesn’t do too much cardio but boy was I in for a surprise. Now let me premise this by saying that I have done some extreme workouts like P90X Plyo, Insanity, and Asylum and those are some tough cardio workouts. Well, Body Beast Cardio definitely caught me off guard.  I didn’t think it could possibly be that tough but I guess I was wrong. I am not even sure what I was expecting but I wasn’t expecting that. Especially since my legs are still kind sore from Body Beast Day 2 Build: Legs and now my biceps are kind of sore from  Body Beast Day 3 Build: Back and Bi’s. My shoulders are only feeling it a little bit from Body Beast Day 4 Build: Shoulders and I don’t think anything else can be sore but I guess we will just have to wait and see.

What you Need for Body Beast Cardio

  • Bench (optional)
  • Weights
  • Water and Towel

Body Beast Cardio Exercises

  • Warm Up
  • Squat to Overhead Press + Hold
  • Toe Tap
  • Squat to Jump Squat + Hold
  • Mountain Climber + Row + Plank
  • Sumo Squat + Hold
  • Plyo Push-Up + Hold
  • Sumo Jump
  • Squat to Upright Row + Hold
  • Alt Lunge Jumps + Hold
  • Plank + Twist + Sprint
  • Cool Down and Stretch

All in all this was a very challenging workout and it was only about 30 minutes long but still have to get through Body Beast Abs so let’s talk about that now. This is my first time doing Body Beast Abs and once again I wasn’t sure what to expect.  Body Beast Abs is not even 11 minutes long and I thought it was a good workout but it wasn’t too tough. If you have been doing P90X Ab Ripper then you will get through this just fine. I am sore in my upper abs a little but I have no idea if it is from Beast Abs or Beast Cardio.  Kind of weird since my core is already in pretty decent shape.  That one of the great things about mixing it up. Makes for better improvements.

  • Crunch
  • Russian Twist w/Dumbbell
  • Hip-Up
  • Crossed Tuck-In
  • Cobra
  • Spiderman Crunch
  • Bucket Drop
  • One Arm Open Plank
  • Windshield Wiper
  • Beast Abs

So far so good on my calories. I have been getting in my 2800-2900 each day even though I am never hungry when I eat.  I feel like I am really stuffing my face but I will stick with it just the way it is written. Eating a ton of food had never been my strong suit but I guess we will see what happens. As yes, I took all of my Body Beast supplements for the day.  If you are ready to get stating with the Body Beast workout then pick a day and let’s get going!

Also one thing to note is on Body Beast Day5 you can do Beast: Total Body instead of the Cardio and yes, you still have to do Beast Abs.
