In a six month weight loss study, participants that kept a record of their calorie counts and food intake lost more than twice as much weight than those that kept no records at all. The best part about this is that is is simple and virtually cost you nothing.  When you write things down you can really see what you are eating throughout the day.  Sometime people miss things like condiments or a soda.  When you right it all down all of things really become visibly apparent.
