Insanity: The Asylum Day 3 Back to Core
Insanity: The Asylum day three is Back to Core. I don’t even know where to begin to describe this work out. Sounds like it was going to be kind of a break. WRONG! My poor hamstrings were already sore from the Strength work out yesterday and now I have to work them again. Not super hard work on the hamstrings but just enough to let me know that they were sore. Practically every move in Back to Core was new to me. It is always fun to do stuff you haven’t done before. Once again, very challenging!! I am not sure where Shaun T gets these moves from but they are definitely effective. I was definitely surprised when I woke up with sore hamstrings. Prior to this I have been doing a hybrid mix of Insanity and P90X and I thought I was pretty much prepared for Insanity: The Asylum. Well, I guess I am pretty much prepared, but these work outs are just a step up from the Insanity work outs. If you have done Insanity you might be thinking “no way”, how can they be harder than Insanity? Well, let’s just say they are different and work multiple muscle groups with each exercise. I know it is only day 3 but I can already tell this is going to be a productive 30 days.
I love the fact that Asylum is 30 days, I love the fact that it comes with a P90X/Asylum hybrid schedule (And Insanity/Asylum hybrid schedule) and I love the fact that so far Asylum has been very challenging. I am pretty sure I am in for more of a challenge tomorrow with Vertical Plyo. I’ll see you tomorrow.
